Bob Case has been a Blues musician since high school. In the early 70′s Bob traveled through the South learning his trade from Country Blues players Bukka White, Furry Lewis and Sleepy John Estes. Later moving to the East Coast brought Bob together with the late great J.B. Hutto.
Bob toured and recorded with Hutto for a number of years playing bass on the album “Keeper of the Flame” which won the WC Handy Award as one of the 10 Best Blues Albums of 1981.
Bob came back to his Blues roots in St. Louis, leading his own band, playing the music he learned first hand while touring the country. Whether its acoustic Country Blues, electric slide guitar or Louisiana Second-Line Bob never fails to reach his audience. “Music is a participant sport, I like to play music that brings people together.” And the roots level American music that Bob plays accomplishes just that.
